New LEGO Ideas Concept Replicates Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus

With the LEGO Ideas platform, there is an abundance of just that – captivating ideas, which sometimes make it to the production floor. One of the latest sees a spot-on replica of Pioneer’s CDJ 2000 Nexus console.

Created by Megragadó Gladiátor Ezredes, the DJ set is comprised of 2,628 LEGO pieces and mirrors the functionality of the actual Pioneer set. Just like a DJ, users can insert and remove a USD stick from the socket to upload music, utilize the temp fader, insert and remove CDs,  make waveform adjustments using a jog wheel for the LED panel and cycle through tracks on the second LED panel. The set also features an array of buttons that cater to the controls of the CDJ 2000 Nexus.

“This new-age classic piece plays a significant role in the life of clubs and parties. DJs are playing the best music on this, mixing the songs together with great precision,” said Ezredes.

Currently, the replica set has 3,579 supporters and 572 days left on the LEGO Ideas platform. Take a closer look at the LEGO Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus in the gallery and video above.
