After an incredible, record-breaking career, former Patriots and Buccaneers QB Tom Brady is retiring from the NFL, as confirmed on his Instagram this morning. “This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes,” he wrote. “I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention.” And we have a pretty good idea of what those “other things” are, not least from Brady and wife Gisele Bündchen’s own comments in recent years: his family, whom he’s eager to spend quality time with while his kids are still young and living at home. Brady’s biggest fans have always known how much his kids Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian mean to him — he brings with him to big games whenever he can, and all three have stolen the post-game show in the past as Tom picked them up for a victory lap after a big win. As we look back on Brady’s long career, we’re also looking back at the family devotion he’s shown throughout, perhaps best exemplified by all these photos of Tom hugging his kids on the football field over the years.
Tom shares two kids with wife Bündchen: daughter Vivian Lake Brady and son Benjamin Brady. He shares his oldest son, John “Jack” Edward Moynahan, with ex Bridget Moynahan (otherwise known as Natasha from Sex and the City), and he sees all the kids together as often as he can. This is one family we know for sure will be feeling the love on game day, and you know what that means: a Brady-Moynahan cuddle puddle in the making.
