Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby’s fractured friendship is seemingly showing no signs of being repaired.
Tonight, This Morning is one of the TV programmes up for a prize at the National Television Awards (NTAs), which is being hosted by Joel Dommett.
While Holly, 42, missed out on a nod in the category for best TV presenter, she’s expected to still make an appearance at the star-studded ceremony, which is taking place at London’s O2 arena.
Earlier this year, her former co-star Phillip, 61, quit This Morning and then stepped away from ITV altogether after he admitted to lying about an affair that he had with a younger male colleague to his coworkers and loved ones.
After scanning the list of people who Phillip follows on Instagram, Metro.co.uk can confirm that he no longer follows Holly on the social media platform.
However, he does still follow former colleagues including Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, as well as the account for This Morning itself.
It’s uncertain when Phillip might have decided to click the unfollow button, months after fans first started speculating about the state of his friendship with Holly and whether it had soured.
Holly, on the other hand, does still follow Phillip on Instagram, as well as his daughters.
Nonetheless, she has other things to focus on tonight as the stars of This Morning pray that they’ll have another win under their belt at the NTAs.
Ahead of tonight’s NTAs, Holly issued a plea for members of the public to vote for her colleague, Alison, who’s up for best TV presenter.
Some fans are hoping that the This Morning star will break Ant and Dec’s winning streak, as they’ve reigned supreme in the category for more than decades.
‘Having been lucky enough to have this summer break to focus on the children, it’s now lovely to be back on the sofa and there was certainly joy in abundance with Alison Hammond today!’ she wrote in the newsletter for her brand Wylde Moon.
‘So, if you’ve ever been filled with joy by The Hammond…and let’s be honest, who hasn’t?!…then you know what to do!’
Voting for the NTAs ended at midday today.
Phillip Schofield’s representative declined to comment.
The National Television Awards airs tonight from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
