Rita Ora and husband Taika Waititi have a lot in common – even their looks, apparently.
The musician, 32, and film director, 47, quietly tied the knot last year after falling head-over-heels for one another following a chance meeting at a friend’s birthday party.
Despite the 15-year age gap, the couple are ‘very similar’ – and their friends even joke they look alike.
Rita opened up on their relationship in a new interview with Metro.co.uk’s Simon Gage, where she dismissed their age gap, saying ‘he was just born in a different year to me.’
‘We’re very similar. We definitely have the same interests and hobbies,’ she said.
Rita added: ‘A lot of my friends actually make the joke that we look alike, which I think is really funny.’
Weirdly, we kind of see it – but it might just be because they are both certified stunners.
The all-round star, who has also appeared in major movies along with smashing the charts multiple times, went on to confirm she is ‘definitely aspiring to do more film.’
And collaborating with her film director husband would be ‘a dream.’
‘Of course I’d love to work with him because I’m his biggest fan and, if it makes sense, that’s something I’d love to do,’ she said proudly.
Having previously worked together on her music video for track Don’t Think Twice, she now knows his work ethic is ‘exactly like mine … getting the job done and achieving greatness.’
The conversation comes after Rita stunned Love Island viewers – and contestants – with a surprise performance at the villa.

During the secret performance, the actor and pop star sang some of her top hits, including new single Praising You from her third studio album You & I.
Rita expressed her excitement over her stint on the show with a post on Instagram, describing the series as her ‘guilty pleasure’.
This isn’t the first surprise set the singer has performed recently as she turned up at London Pride in a daring Barbiecore pink outfit.
Rita looks is set to storm the charts with her new album, heading for a third-place debut in the charts behind Taylor Swift and J Hus.
