Resurfaced details show that Salma Hayek has always been a confident Queen, and she isn’t afraid to tell someone off, even former US President Donald Trump.

In a 2017 interview with Trevor Noah on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah via People, the Oscar-nominated actress details exactly what happened, and how she handled the awkward situation.

In the interview, she detailed how it all started when she and her boyfriend at the time were out at an A-list-packed dinner. Mere seconds after she and her boyfriend met Trump, he made a move by immediately putting his coat over her shoulders.

“I turn around and my boyfriend — so charming, so nice — he said hello [to Trump],” she recalled. “[Trump] said, ‘I’m sorry, your girlfriend, I saw she was cold.’ And then he kept talking to my boyfriend.”

She later divulged that he asked for both her and her boyfriend’s number, but only called her. “He’s inviting me out, and I’m like, ‘What about my boyfriend? Am I crazy? Are you asking me out? You know I have a boyfriend,’” the Frida star said, adding that he persisted in asking her out. He allegedly said, “‘He’s not good enough for you. He’s not important, he’s not big enough for you. You have to go out with me.’”

But things get even crazier, because she alleged that he planted a story to the media about them, saying he denied her for being “too short.” And he allegedly called her again, “Later, he called and left me a message. ‘Can you believe this? Who would say this? I don’t want people to think this about you.’” He thought that I would try to go out with him so people wouldn’t think that’s why he wouldn’t go out with me.”
