Take a Look Inside London's Hottest New Designer Retailer, htown

Fashionphiles are spoilt for choice when it comes to designer-centric retailers in London, but pushing its way through the saturated crowd is Harry Fisher’s htown.

Today, htown unveils its new semi-permanent premises, situated within the One Hundred Shoreditch complex. The community hub formerly home to the Ace Hotel has previously housed Christopher Kane’s More Joy, JW Anderson’s first London store, and Opening Ceremony, and under its new owners, One Hundred Shoreditch offers its space to htown and its rich roster of designer labels.

From emerging to established, htown has a brand for everyone. Saul Nash and Dion Lee serve up subverted sportswear, while JW Anderson, Martine Rose, Ahluwalia, Aries and AGR stand as some of the greatest hits to come out of the UK, all available to shop in-store.

Jewelry comes courtesy of Hatton Labs — another London stalwart dominating its scene — while brands such as Our Legacy, GmbH, Mowalola, EYTYS, Y/Project, Spencer Badu, Port Tanger, ERL, and Eckhaus Latta are all available to shop, too. In the near future, htown will also bring Glenn Martens’ Diesel and the rising star of London, Chet Lo.

Going beyond being just another retailer, the store has partnered with One Hundred Shoreditch to use its store as a community hub, creating an inclusive space to present charitable and fashion-centric projects. More specifically, the location will be used for events and activations that bring brands, artists, and creative directors together with the clientele and London shoppers with the aim of “providing access to the industry for young people.”

Speaking on this in further detail, the store notes: “Refuge and Spitalfields Crypt Trust, charities in which One Hundred continues to support, are imperative in htown’s partnership and will remain a key part of all initiatives. htown has agreed to make a monthly donation to both of these charities for the entirety of this project.”
