Since 2020, Yen Town Market has been honoring the late, great lo-fi hip-hop pioneer Nujabes through its Nujabes World Tour clothing line — officially licensed apparel and accessories that celebrate Nujabes’ albums and record label. Now, Yen Town Market has prepped an extensive collection of apparel and vinyl records, collaborative BE@RBRICK figures from Medicom Toy and more to continue their celebration of Nujabes’ legacy.
The lion’s share of the collection is made up of hoodies, crewnecks, long-sleeve and short-sleeve tees that repurpose graphics from seminal Nujabes albums and compilation records like Metaphorical Music and Hydeout Productions 1st Collection while also acknowledging Hydeout Productions (his record label) itself. Besides the apparel, there’s also a litany of accessories and home goods like mugs, pillows, umbrellas and skateboards that repurpose Hydeout Productions 1st Collection‘s album artwork.
Of course, vinyl is well-represented in the collection. There are custom-printed Metaphorical Music and Hydeout Productions 1st Collection records with full-color prints, as well as plain black vinyl reissues of the two aforementioned albums plus Hydeout Productions 2nd Collection and Modal Soul. Last but not least, Nujabes World Tour and Medicom Toy have three new BE@RBRICK figures lined up: a 1000% Hydeout Productions 1st Collection iteration as well as 400%/100% sets inspired by Hydeout Productions 2nd Collection and Modal Soul.
All the new Nujabes World Tour garments and accessories are available now via the Yen Town Market webstore. Prices range from ¥8,250 JPY (approximately $60 USD) for a short-sleeved T-shirt to ¥68,200 JPY (approximately $499 USD) for the 1000% BE@RBRICK.
