Following an all-black FW21 collection, Y’s and New Era continue their long-standing basics series with a collection of easy-to-wear silhouettes in black and white.
This season sees the introduction of a new Y’s block icon and the use of GORE-TEX PACELITE® materials for the first time. Headwear pieces include the classic Y’s 9THIRTY® cap and drawcord bucket hat while apparel selections include unisex pullover hoodies, sweaters, and GORE-TEX-lined pants. New Era logo placements are mainly found above the left ear and sleeve hems while the new Y’s logo is boldly featured on the back of the hoodies, on the left chest of the sweaters, and front and center of the caps. Y’s traditional logo is still found across the range of new GORE-TEX options.
The Y’s x New Era collection will be available on March 19 at Y’s online and physical stores as well as select authorized dealers. Prices range from ¥11,000 JPY for the 9THIRTY® caps to ¥25,300 JPY for the hoodies (approximately $93 to $214 USD).
Elsewhere in fashion, PLATEAU STUDIO’s SS22 collection explores a summer of love and hatred.
