ALDI is releasing a burger topped with mac and cheese this week and it looks like something straight from the US.
The burger, which is made with a steak patty, comes with a mature cheddar mac and cheese melt that oozes over the meat while it’s being cooked.
Aldi described the mouth-watering dish as a “flavour fusion” and says it’ll be available to buy on Thursday, 14 November.
But as it’s a Specialbuy product, it won’t be restocked once it’s sold out – so you’ll need to be quick to get your meat fix.
The mac and cheese burgers will cost £2.49 for a 440g pack.
Sadly you won’t be able to buy them online so you’ll need to visit your nearest Aldi to buy your burgers.
Aldi currently has 830 stores in the UK and you can find your nearest one by using the online store finder.
Mac and cheese burgers are extremely popular in the US with one of the most famous sold in The Cheesecake Factory.
We couldn't find another UK supermarket selling a mac and cheese burger, with the closest alternative being these mac and cheese melts from Tesco, costing £1.75.
We've asked Aldi how many calories their mac and cheese burger contains and we'll update this article when we know more.
This isn't the only cheesy treat to come out of Aldi this month – the discounter just released a new Halloumi burger and brought back its sell-out fries.
Aldi's also selling booze-filled Christmas food including maple and bourbon gammon and prosecco panettone.
Meanwhile, the supermarket has also dropped its festive sarnie range featuring a hog roast sandwich and a turkey and trimming wrap.
