An Amazon warehouse worker has revealed what it’s really like to work for the online retailer – from working 12 hour shifts to eating lunch at 4am.
The American worker, from Washington, shares videos under the username @latequileralashes on TikTok and has baffled other users with her stories from the job.
In one video, she explained how she starts work at 11pm and spends between 11 and 12 hours placing boxes into different slots.
She explained: ‘My feet always end up hurting after this. Amazon isn’t that bad – just make yourself like one or three friends and you’re good.’

In one video, she explained how she starts work at 11pm and spends between 11 and 12 hours placing boxes into different slots
In the video, she said she starts to get ready for the job at 9.30pm, putting on makeup and cleaning her teeth.
She said: ‘A day in my life as an Amazon employee. I brushed my teeth, now let’s wash this damn face.
‘I have to put on concealer because people be judgmental as f*** saying I look dead.’
She added: ‘I am dead every time I go to work!’
Other social media users were quick to comment on the post, with many confessing they would struggle with her night shift
She then arrives at 10pm, jokingly writing: ‘I always try and park away from everyone because I hate them all.’
The Amazon employee begins work at 11pm and can be seen placing sealed boxes into their correct slots.
She said: ‘We do this until 4am and then go to lunch. It’s a 11 to 12 hour shift – but I usually VTO so I always go home early.’
After confessing the job made her feet hurt, she said: ‘Ignore everyone else and don’t tell people your business.

She said employees then have to wait for more packages ‘until 4am’ and they are then permitted to go for lunch.
Other social media users were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: ‘Girl honestly I don’t know you but I’m proud of you!
‘I could never work overnight I wouldn’t sleep at all during the day idk how you do it!’
Another commented: ‘Oh man I work the graveyard shift at a hotel and watching this made me realised I forgot to brush my teeth = now I’m self-conscious.’
