Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was pushed back for months. The ladies have been filming the show since August and fans have been anxious to see what they’re up to. There’s been a lot of rumors around the new season of the show and viewers will finally be witness to everything when the show premieres on April 15.
One of the elements that fans look forward to every season are the taglines and the ladies’ looks for the opening sequence. As a treat, Bravo teased the RHOBH title card ahead of the official premiere.
In a tie-in with the movie Trolls, the cable network released a short video that revealed what the reality stars will look like on the intro. The commercial imagined the newest troll, Tiny Diamond, joining the Housewives and practicing his taglines.
“Tiny Diamond is my name, shining brightly is my game. I’m new in town, but I’m not afraid to sparkle! We’ll overpower them with glitter,” he said.
RHOBH fans were more interested in how that clip ended. It showed all the girls holding their diamonds and solidified Kyle Richards as the absolute queen of the franchise right in the middle.
The lineup was as follows from left to right: Teddi Mellencamp, Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne, Richards, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, and Denise Richards.
Notably missing is Sutton Stracke, who had been announced as a new addition to the franchise. The latter was expected when she was not in the season 10 cast photo when it was released a couple of weeks ago.
Bravo won’t release season 10 early
The world is living through a global pandemic due to coronavirus. Since most people are at home, they are looking for entertainment to watch on television. Early on there was a push by fans to release season 10 early but Andy Cohen shut down that possibility.
“The issue is there’s only a certain amount of episodes totally color-corrected and locked right now, for both of those shows,” Cohen said on the SiriusXM show Reality Checked with Amy Phillips. “I think for RHONY there’s like, eight or nine done and for RHOBH, there’s like, five done. Something like that.”
With everyone working remotely, it takes a little longer to edit the episodes now and in the end, they didn’t want to rush the process.
“If we released all those now, we would wind up screwing ourselves in the end, so that’s the issue,” Cohen continued. “The truth of the matter is, if this [coronavirus crisis] is going to go on for a while, just think of how much more we’re going to be ready for RHONY when it premieres! I just think we need to be focused.”
What does Kyle Richards think of the new additions?
Richards made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live this week and talked about the new additions to the group.
“I think they were great! They’re great additions to the show,” Richards said in the After Show. “I’m really excited for you to see them all and I’ve gotten really close to Sutton more so than Garcelle. She was doing, you know, another show at the same time, too, but they’re both great additions, so I’m excited to have them on the show with us.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on April 15 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
