Crocs just dropped a limited edition McDonalds collab – but are you lovin’ the controversial style?

Just when you think you’ve seen everything Crocs has to offer, it goes and launches a whole new collaboration that none of us saw coming.

Following on from its controversialcowboy boot Crocsand its latestChristmas collection, which both launched over the last couple of months, the latest collaboration has seen the footwear brand team up withfast good giant McDonald’s.

It seems fashion and fast food are colliding more than ever, and although we wouldn’t have automatically put the two brands together, Crocs isn’t the first fashion brand to give a fast food chain a stylish upgrade.

Luxury fashion house Moschino released a McDonald’s-inspired collection back in 2014, and who could forgetPrimark’s infamous Gregg’s collabfrom the summer which sold out almost instantly? There was even aBurger King one-size-fits-all silk shirtdesigned by British designer Katie Eary and constructed by Rav Matharu of clothsurgeon.

The latest fast food fashion collection sees several of Crocs' classic clog designs given an update in the iconic McDonald’s colours as part of the McDonald’s X Crocs collab, which launched today (November 14).

You can get your hands on a signature red and yellow McDonald's X Crocs Classic Clog, £65 here, or snap up one of three pairs that have been inspired by some of McDonald’s characters, like the McDonald’s X Crocs Birdie Classic Clog, £70 here, and the McDonald’s X Crocs Hamburglar Classic Clog, £70 here, which have a black and whtie stripe design and a silhouette of the burger-robbing character printed on the soles.

Fans of Crocs’ cosy fur-lined sandals will also be pleased to see there’s a design for them too, with the McDonald’s X Crocs Grimace Cozzzy Sandal, £65 here, coming in a purple colour inspired by one of the lesser known McDonald’s crew (he’s apparently the “embodiment of a milkshake”, in case you didn’t know).

No pair of Crocs would be complete without some adornments, and the Mcdonald’s X Crocs 5 Pack Jibbitz, £20 here, lets you wear your order with pride.

The pack contains some of the fast food chain’s staples like the Big Mac, a McNuggets carton, McDonald’s fries, the legendary Golden Arches, and the McDonald’s cup.

Crocs may be controversial on their own, but if you really want to make a polarising fashion statement, you need to be wearing your Crocs with socks.

Thankfully, the new McDonald’s collab has three different pairs to choose from so you can match them to your new Crocs, with each pair also inspired by some of the brand’s iconic characters.

There’s apurple fuzzy Grimace pair, a burger-emblazonedHamurgler pair, and a pink and yellowfrill-trimmed Birdie pair, with each pair costing just £15.
