Father-of-22, Noel Radford, has revealed his DIY money saving skills after redecorating the family’s downstairs loo for just £200 after being quoted an enormous £4,000.
The Radfords, who are Britain’s largest family, aren’t shy when it comes to spending on their enormous 10-bedroom home, but they often do most of the work themselves to save on cash.
We’re not surprised at that as it can cost them £350 a week just on the food shop to keep their huge brood fed.
And, in the last year they’ve splashed out on a £6,500 fridge and £30,000 Range Rover – so they have to cut costs where they can.
Plus, mum Sue recently bought two new dining tables so all of their live-at-home kids can eat together.
And Noel, 50, did just that when it came to redecorating the bathroom.
Posting on the family’s Instagram Stories, wife Sue said: "Noel’s been busy decorating the downstairs toilet today.
"Only cost £200 as opposed to the £4,000 we were quoted to refit it."
Sue gave a sneak peak of the room online showing wallpaper with a large leafy pattern on it.
The family live on the proceeds from Noel’s bakery business, their own media company and Instagram cash.
In the past they’ve stated that they do not get any benefits towards their lifestyle and they live in a former care home that they bought in 2004 for £240,000.
But, recent news claims that the Morecambe based couple, who are also grandparents, are looking to build a new house as they’ve outgrown the 10-bedroom in Lancashire.
However, they’ve expressed frustration with how quickly plots of land sell and haven’t been able to secure one yet.
Sue and Noel are parents to Chris, 32, Sophie, 28, Chloe, 26, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 13, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, one.
