A fitness influencer has branded social media ‘fake’ after she revealed what her body looked like when it is not posed.
Self-proclaimed ‘CEO’ of gym outfits Makayla Anisa often influences her 2.6million TikTok followers with her envy-worthy workout attire and killer training sessions.
But, in a recent clip that has racked up a huge 4.2m views, Makayla has provided a “reminder” to her fans that even the uber fit do not look constantly toned to ‘perfection’.
In the clip, the brunette beauty donned a matching green sports bra and high waisted gym leggings as she posed to flaunt her rock hard tum and super cinched waist.
She turned around to show off her equally toned back and sculpted booty – a figure that many people envy.
Makayla wrote in the clip: “Reminder that this doesn’t exist without… this.”
The stunning influencer then revealed the reality behind her posed clips and snaps as she pulled down her leggings to flaunt her relaxed tum.
Her back also did not appear as toned and she relaxed from her extreme posed stance.
Makayla also showed an up-close shot of her skin which had some texture and a couple of pimples.
The fitness babe then shared her shortly cut nails and her relaxed waist.
She explained in the caption: “Your little reminder today that social media is fake. Everything isn’t always as it seems my friends.”
Inspired by Makayla’s candid clip, many people fled to the comments to praise her for being so ‘real’.
One person commented: “This is why I follow you, this is so unbelievably important.”
Another user added: “No cause I needed to see this today!! We are all REAL HUMANS and we are f***ing beautiful.”
Whilst a third person voiced: “I’ve been struggling all night… needed this really bad.”
Someone else praised: “Thank you for sharing. It’s so easy to get caught up in what we think is real. You’re beautiful always.”
And, a fifth person expressed: “It’s so important to see both sides.”
