An elderly woman with arthritis was overwhelmed when two kind supermarket staff offered to help her with her shopping.
Myra Gore was doing a big shop at her local branch of Iceland in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire when she ran into a spot of bother.
Following the death of her husband in June, Myra has had to organise the groceries herself, The Liverpool Echo reported.
While the 76-year-old has crippling arthritis , she doe not have the computer skills to shop online, meaning she is forced to make her way around the aisles in extreme pain.
Her granddaughter Cheryl explained: "My granddad used to do all the shopping, he was quite savvy online so he would order it to be delivered.
"But my nan doesn't really know how to use the Internet, she can't send an email or anything so she uses Iceland's service where you can shop in store and have your groceries delivered to your door later on."
On Wednesday she made her usual weekly trip to the supermarket and after choosing her items headed to the checkout.
There she was told that she could not have the items delivered to her home as she typically does.
Without the strength to get the shopping home by herself, she started putting the food back on the shelves.
Just as she had begun the disheartening process two Iceland employees approached her with a heartwarming offer.
One of them said they would be finishing their shift soon and could drive Myra home with her groceries.
Cheryl said her nan was "completely overwhelmed" by the offer, as without their help she would have been forced to make a number of trips to the shops to pick up items one at a time.
She said: "The thought and what they did, it has just touched us all.
"Nothing like this has ever happened to her, actually nothing as kind as this has ever happened to our family.
"My nan was just really grateful, all of the staff were so thoughtful and kind to her."
