Iconic Christmas item returns to Aldi shelves in days after M&S axes festive fave | The Sun

ALDI is set to bring back an iconic Christmas item within days after Marks and Spencer revealed it was axing the festive favourite.

The discounter's popular glitter gins are back for Christmas and they're bound to be a hit yet again.

The news was revealed when Aldi launched its Christmas menu, which features Yorkshire puddings filled with pigs in blankets and ganache pinecones.

The supermarket has revealed three new bottle designs, two of which light up, each with a flurry of 23-carat gold flakes.

The Aldi Infusionist gold flake light-up gin liqueurs are set to be released in store just in time for the Christmas party season from November 6.

The original Infusionist clementine gin is back by popular demand in a stunning new design.

It comes after The Sun exclusively revealed that Marks and Spencer won't be stocking its sell-out snow globe gins this festive period.

The bottles of M&S gin liqueur have been an M&S Christmas staple over the last three years.

Instead, it will be selling three brand-new festive tipples this year – Very Berry Vodka Liqueur, Marmalade Gin Liqueur and Stollen Rum Liqueur.

The new liqueurs come in stunning bottles with LED lights and a stylish pinecone design.

They are available in stores now and are priced at £15.

But Aldi and M&S aren't the only retailers to have shown off its Christmas offering for 2023.

Morrisons revealed its festive line-up last month.
