Kim Kardashian praises ‘best dad’ Kanye West on Father’s Day
Kim Kardashian made sure ex-husband Kanye West felt celebrated this Father’s Day.
“The kids spent the day with him and then we had a big Father’s Day dinner,” the “Kardashians” star, 41, said during a “Today” show appearance on Tuesday, noting that their 9-year-old daughter, North, cooked.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum added, “Of course I wanted to honor and respect the amazing people and fathers … in my life that have raised me and are raising my children.”
Kardashian, who also shares Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, with the 45-year-old rapper, clarified that “everything is going good” co-parenting.
On Sunday, the reality star sent West a sweet social media shoutout.
“Thank you for being the best dad to our babies and loving them the way you do!” the makeup mogul wrote alongside a smiling snap of the Yeezy creator and their brood. “Happy Father’s Day Ye.”
Kardashian also reunited with West on Friday when she and the Grammy winner attended their eldest child’s basketball game.
Although the former couple sat one row apart in the bleachers, a source told Page Six that they “did speak from time to time throughout the evening and appeared to be cordial.”
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021. She was declared legally single in March of the following year, the same month that she and boyfriend Pete Davidson became Instagram-official.

The Skims creator gushed about the “Saturday Night Live” alum, 28, in a March “Ellen DeGeneres Show” appearance.
“I’m in my 40s, like, f–k it — sorry — just go for it, find your happiness,” Kardashian said at the time. “I went for it, and I took my time, and I found it, and it feels so good, and I want to hold onto that forever.”
West has slammed his ex-wife’s relationship with the comedian on multiple occasions, but Kardashian told Robin Roberts in April that she chooses to “take the high road.”
The Los Angeles native admitted, “Sometimes it’s hard.”
The record producer, for his part, has dated Irina Shayk, Julia Fox and Chaney Jones since he and Kardashian called it quits last year.
