We’re sure we don’t need to tell you that the Kardashians and their sisters are famous for serving up iconic hairstyles day in, day out. In fact, we’re kind of surprised that momager Kris Jenner hasn’t brought out a coffee table book full of them yet (Kris, if you’re reading, we’d like a cut please.)
The latest beauty look to catch our attention is a serve courtesy of eldest sibling Kourtney Kardashian, who has styled her long bob into a modern flicked out style with a heavy side part that feels very reminiscent of the style of the sixties. And while the look is without a massive beehive, is anybody else getting Hairspray musical vibes?
Kourtney shared a series of random images with her 162 million Instagram followers with the caption “A highlight reel”, with the picture of her stylish ‘do as the cover – and naturally many of her fans were quick to praise her on the gorgeous look.
"Wow you are looking so gorgeous. Nice dress and nice makeup," one fan enthused, as another commented, "You’re so beeeeeeeaaaaaautiful".
"You are STUNNING," a third follower added, while her sister Khloe Kardashian chimed in with "So beyond beautiful".
This sixties hairstyle comes not long after Kourt gave her fans an insight into one of the more painful steps of her beauty regime, as she got plasma injected into her face without any numbing cream. Oof. Earlier this month Kourtney filmed LA-based plastic surgeon Dr Jason Diamond administering the injection (also known as PRP treatment) to her face, sharing the footage on Instagram Stories.
“I LOVE TORTURE DAY WITH @drjasondiamond” she captioned the clip, adding “INJECTING PLASMA” on the following slide.
In the video Dr Diamond explained of the procedure, “It has a lot of benefits for a lot of different areas, but for you I’m injecting these little blemished areas.”
What’s more Kourtney underwent the procedure without any numbing cream, which she confirmed she “never” uses on the following slide, at one point exclaiming “ooh, that one hurt!”
As Kourtney got engaged to fiancé Travis Scott in October, her PRP injections may be part of a longer term beauty regime in the lead-up to her big day.
We can only wonder what beauty treatment she’ll book next!
