IF you are looking to buy a railcard for the summer this little-known trick could mean you get one completely free.
Railcards are a great way to save money on travel and make for an even bigger saving if you don't have to pay for the card itself.
Tesco Clubcard users can currently use their vouchers to get a railcard worth £30 for free depending on how much they have, but you will need to act quickly as this offer will not be around forever.
One happy customer who managed to take advantage of this deal shared his purchase in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.
He said: "I just got a family railcard using my Tesco vouchers. They are still doing triple points so my £10 got me a £30 Railcard for free.
"If I had waited a few more weeks I would have only gotten £20 off and I would have needed to pay the £10 difference."

From June 14 Tesco is reducing the value of its Clubcard points spent with reward partners.
At the moment customers can exchange and triple the value of the vouchers at various reward partners such as Alton Towers and Pizza Express.
But from June 14 Clubcard vouchers will only be worth double their value if exchanged at any of Tesco's 100 reward partners, meaning that their value won't go as far as it used to.
Customers wishing to avoid the points devaluation for as long as possible can do so by ordering partner codes before June 14.

Rewards ordered up to and including June 13 will still be valid one year from the date of issue – so if you ordered them on June 10, they'll expire on June 10 2024.
Customers wanting to use their vouchers to purchase a railcard can currently turn every £1 they have into £3 to use with the 1-year 16-25 railcard, until June 14.
If this is purchased after June 14, each £1 will only be converted into £2, meaning you will need to make up the difference.
From time to time it is possible to buy railcards at discounted rates with operators such as Trainline.
They previously offered a third off for a month last year, and although they do not have the same offer at the moment it is always worth checking their website for deals.
Railcard is currently offering 50% off Standard Anytime, Off-Peak, Advance and Season Tickets for travellers aged 16 or 17 via their website.
They are also offering 5% off senior cards and memberships, if you would like to take advantage of this offer you can download the voucher codes HERE.
