Jim Wilkes wants the world to know he’s a happily married man.

After the recently arrested attorney made headlines for going on what appeared to be a date with “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne, he took to Instagram to gush over his much-younger spouse, Jessica Collins.

“My wife and me. Having a nice moment,” Wilkes, 72, captioned a black-and-white selfie Tuesday of the couple in bed, which Jayne, 51, “liked.”

“You’re married? You realize the internet thinks you’re Erika’s boyfriend😂😂😂,” one social media user commented beneath the snap, with another adding, “I sure hope you are still married to this beautiful woman❤️. Steer clear of that blood sucking EJ 🕷️.”

Wilkes filed for divorce from Collins in March 2021, but the photo and accompanying message seem to signify that the two have reconciled despite his outing with Jayne.

The lawyer and the Bravolebrity were photographed strolling through Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Sunday amid her divorce from disgraced former attorney Tom Girardi.

Wilkes — who was a longtime associate of Girardi — has reportedly been helping Jayne financially, with the US Sun reporting that he allegedly sent her nearly $500,000.

“Erika filed a summary judgment motion to get herself out of the case, and in response, the law firm noted that Erika was receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars for her legal fees from an attorney named James Lewis Wilkes, II, via Wilkes’ law firm,” read court documents previously obtained by the outlet.

Wilkes describes himself on Instagram as a “US Army ’69-72 Vietnam Vet songwriter, music publisher, lawyer, elder advocate, world champion boxing manager, political consultant [and] humanitarian.” However, like Girardi, he has a rap sheet.

Last month, Wilkes was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which is a felony, and misdemeanor battery after firing two shots inside his Tampa, Fla., home during a domestic dispute.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Wilkes told cops that he and the woman — whose name and relationship to the attorney were redacted from the police report — were arguing when she hit him in the head.

Wilkes told cops he grabbed a handgun and fired one round into the bed and another round into a bathroom wall to scare her. The woman alleged that Wilkes then held the gun to her head and torso and threatened to kill her, which he denied.

“He was attacked, and he was defending himself,” his lawyer told the newspaper. “That’s the extent of it.”

According to the Times, police obtained a risk protection order to remove several guns and ammunition from Wilkes’ home. Cops said the woman might also be prosecuted.

Jayne, for her part, filed for divorce from Girardi, 83, in November 2020 after 21 years of marriage amid a string of legal issues, including accusations that he embezzled millions of dollars from his clients’ settlement funds to finance his then-wife’s lavish lifestyle.

In March 2021, Girardi was disbarred and diagnosed with late-onset Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Six months later, he moved into a senior living facility, where he remains.

Girardi was indicted on five counts of wire fraud in February. As for Jayne, she maintains that she had no knowledge of or involvement in his misdeeds.

Neither she nor Wilkes immediately responded to Page Six’s requests for comment.
