A mother was left shocked after her tyres were slashed by eco-warriors who left a ‘passive aggressive’ note blasting her for not driving an ‘environmentally sensitive’ car.
The parent – who didn’t specify what kind of car she drives – said her vehicle was targeted at night in Notting Hill, west London.
But she did not notice her tyres were flat until she had set off driving with her young children in the back.
The furious mother said she wasn’t the only person in her area to be targeted, with vandals puncturing tyres before leaving notes on cars.

The bitter note read: ‘David Attenborough and Planet Earth thank you for driving such an environmentally sensitive vehicle. Thank you’.
Posting in Facebook group Notting Hill Mums, the mother has now warned other motorists to ‘keep their eyes peeled’ if they own a car.
She wrote: ‘Apparently we aren’t the only ones to have had our tyres let down/punctured over night with a passive aggressive note (which, quite frankly I don’t disagree with).
‘Eyes peeled if you have a car. Worryingly, had my children in the car & had started to set off before noticing xx’.

Fellow mothers were quick to express their shock at the bizarre incident, with some saying puncturing tyres is extremely ‘dangerous’.
One wrote: ‘Please report it to the police. Whatever the motivations/intent, this could be very dangerous – especially in upcoming icy weather.’
‘Touching someone else’s property regardless of their views… does anyone have any camera images /recordings?’ another person commented.

Other commenters urged the mother to call the police, with one saying: ‘This is despicable. These vandals should be brought to justice.’
The mother later wrote she had contacted police about her slashed tyres but was told the vandals could not be caught unless CCTV captured their face in the act.
‘Apparently unless it clearly shows their face, the police are unable to do anything….’ she commented.
