A mum-of-three was terrified when four balaclava-clad men tried to break into her house while she was putting her child to sleep.
Nayab Azhar said the gang pulled up in a black BMW X5 and walked up to her house before banging at her front and back doors.
She was with her two boys, aged 10 and eight, and a 20-month-old baby when the incident happened at around 8pm on Monday, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The thugs fled the scene after seeing Nayab from the window upstairs.
But luckily the CCTV outside the home captured the men so that Nayab reported it to the police.
She told Mirror Online: "My children are very traumatised by the event and refuse to play in the garden anymore."
She believed the culprits picked her house because the side alley was not lit and they thought no one was at home.
She recalled the incident and said: "It was really scary to see. I think they saw me so they jumped the fence and sped off.
"My husband came home and had he arrived five minutes earlier he would have confronted them.
"I'm really shaken up by it, as are my kids."
It's understood that the Greater Manchester Police has sent officers to visit the house later that evening.
Nayab shared the footage in hope to warn her neighbours.
"People should make sure their doors and windows are locked," she added.
"I want people to know about this and be aware it can happen at any time of the day."
