Personal trainer told 25-stone woman she was ‘too heavy’ for bootcamp

A 25 stone woman said she passed out crying after a personal trainer told her she was "too heavy" for bootcamp.

Lisa Parratt said she was told she had "gone too far" and needed to lose five stone before taking part in his training group.

The 33-year-old, from Leicestershire, said the messages left her so distraught she broke down in tears and collapsed.

She shared screenshots of their conversation on Facebook and has since received a flood of supportive comments.

Speaking about her reaction to the messages, the 33-year-old told The Sun : "I was at my parents' house at the time and I went dead silent.

"My mum said 'what's wrong?' and then I just passed out crying. I have poor self-image anyway so it was really tough. I actually felt quite ashamed.

"I don't hide from my weight but I do expect a professional personal delivering a professional service to give a better response than that."
