SAINSBURY’S shoppers will be able to pick and mix their favourite Lindt Lindor truffles in 72 stores from next month.
The supermarket confirmed to The Sun that more shops will feature Lindt pick and mix stands after a successful trial in five stores earlier this year.
In pictures shared on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group, the stands feature different flavours of Lindt Lindor including milk chocolate, mint, dark chocolate, orange and strawberry and cream.
We also spotted caramel, white chocolate, hazelnut, coconut, sea salt and stracciatella Lindt.
Sainsbury’s told us 67 more pick and mix stands will open nationwide by December 2, on top of the five trial stores.
We’ve asked the grocer for a list of stores and we’ll update this article when we know more.
Prices for the pick and mix start from £3 for eight balls, going up to £5 for 14 balls and £10 for 28 balls.
This can work out a pricier option if you’re after just one flavour, with a 200g box on milk chocolate Lindt Lindor currently costing £4 in Superdrug.
A 200g box typically contains 16 pieces of chocolate.
While orange flavoured Lindt Lindor are selling for £3.50 for the same size in Tesco.
Before you go filling a bag to the brim, you'll also want to note that one Lindt ball typically contains 75 calories and 5g of sugar.
Men are recommended to consume no more than 2,500 calories a day, while it's 2,000 for women.
For your sugar intake, the daily limit to stay healthy is 30g.
Tesco shoppers got a surprise this week when they spotted Sainsbury’s squash put on the shelves in Tesco.
And have you seen Sainsbury's Christmas advert? It's a heartwarming tale about how Santa started out as chimney sweep accused of stealing a Clementine.
Meanwhile, Sainsbury's has released its Christmas sandwich range and it includes a new treacle ham and cranberry Wensleydale sarnie.
