Sam Faiers reveals her June goals list including how to ‘learn to say no’ and ‘forgive and let go’

Sam Faiers has shared her list of goals for June in an attempt to hold herself more accountable.

The Mummy Diaries star, 29, took to her Instagram page with her 'June goal list' which included targets like learning to say no more, start meditating and setting herself a new business goal.

After sharing it on her Stories, the mum-of-two then posted it on her feed as motivation with many of her followers writing how much they loved the idea, including her famous pals like Ferne McCann, Tiffany Watson and X Factor star Louisa Johnson.

"Someone once told me that if you write something down pen to paper it’s 90 [per cent] more likely to happen rather than just thinking it. So here’s my June goals. try it x #goals #motivation #june2020", the reality star wrote in the caption.

Sam had used different coloured felt tips to write up the list which she had stuck to her fridge so that she would see it every day.

It began with "Do a lockdown scrapbook with the kids", "Give myself a mani and pedi" and "Start meditation and practise daily".

Sam had already asked her followers about advice on meditating and was given recommendations to download the Calm and Synctuition apps to help get her started.

The list was also written without any explanation or reasons behind them, so some targets proved mysterious like, "Forgive, let go and move on," and "Learn to say no".

There were more lighthearted goals like "Sleep under the stars", "Plant some flowers and herbs" and "Take evening walks", as well as "Make something for someone" and "Make a grateful list weekly".

The TV personality, who often posts stunning images of herself and her family on social media, also added: "Stop stressing over perfection" and "Pray more worry less".

She also wrote that she wanted to "Print out my fave affirmations repeat daily" and "Tell people I love them, often".

Sam's followers praised her for sharing the goals list calling her "inspirational", as others asked her to keep them updated with the results.

"Absolutely love this idea! Brilliant idea. Think i will do this too!" [sic], wrote one of her fans.

"I need to bring most of these goals into my life. Thank you for posting this .. June is going to be a good month," added another.

"Love this Sam – you need to update us at the end of June and let us know what worked for you," said a third.


Sam's list comes after she spoke to OK! about how she's dealt with staying at home during lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"[There] was a little bit of uncertainty for me, and obviously it’s going to affect everyone with their work and stuff but I’ve tried to remain positive and I’ve been speaking to my family every day and taking the kids out for exercise and I’ve been training every day and it gives meaning to each day. I’ve adapted."

She also said of her routine: “You get up and you know your whole day is focused on [your children] and you haven’t got to fill the time apart from doing household stuff and the cooking. I’m looking forward to being taken out for dinner – I’ve cooked a lot."
