Tesco shoppers are being warned of a new gift card scam.
More than 170 people have reported the scam, which emails customers and claim they're in a chance of winning a £500 gift card.
The email reads: "You have been selected to join our loyalty programme for free. It only takes a minute to get access to this prize."

To get "one step closer" to claiming the prize, the scam asks people to log into their Paypal account to confirm personal details.
Action Fraud has issued advice for anyone concerned about the scam.
The fraud centre said: "Your bank, or any other official organisation, won't ask you to share personal information over email or text.
"If you need to check that it's a genuine message, contact them directly."
Action Fraud urged Brits to report any emails which "feel suspicious" to [email protected].
In a tweet to 69,100 followers, it said: "Watch out for FAKE Tesco emails about gift card giveaways."

The company claimed: "We've had 172 reports about them so far.
"Report emails that feel suspicious, even if you're not certain they're a scam – we can check."
Phishing is a type of fraud where the scammer sends an email pretending to be from another person or company.
These emails usually contain links or attachments, which have software in order to take your log in details and account information.
People can do so much to avoid a scam which include blocking unwanted calls and text messages.
Brits are advised to avoid giving out personal or financial information to a request that you didn't expect.
