She was joined by Dominic West, who is set to play Prince Charles in the drama, for the scenes, as well as child actor Timothee Sambor, 11, who got into character as the young Princes William.
The Crown’s fifth series of the show will cover the Royal Family’s history throughout the 1990s.
Over the first three series of The Crown, the Netflix hit has become well known for bending facts to suit its narrative, and while some artistic license is inevitable, some critics have been outraged in its rewriting of history and relationships.

It is unknown exactly what scene was being filmed from Princess Diana’s life, or whether the Netflix series is once again taking artistic license with the late royal.
Princess Eugenie’s christening, which took place on the Royal Sandringham estate in 1990, was one of the few to be shared with the local public around the estate.
Nine-month-old Eugenie was baptised during morning service at the church of St Mary Magdalene at Sandringham just before Christmas in 1990.

It was a notable exception to the usual privacy surrounding royal christenings. The christening was broadcast by loudspeaker across the royal estate at Sandringham, Norfolk.
Microphones relayed the service to a crowd of 2,000 outside the church.
‘It was a lovely family occasion, a truly happy day,’ the Bishop of Norwich, the Rev Peter Nott, who conducted the 50-minute service, previously explained.
The stars of the series have been busy filming for the fifth season in recent weeks, with Elizabeth spotted out and about on set in London last month.
