A brave bride-to be lost her battle with cancer just hours before she was to have the wedding of her dreams.
When Hazel Jack was told she was living on borrowed time her last wish was to marry her fiance Jono.
The 42-year-old had advanced metastatic breast cancer which she'd been battling for six years.
Hazel's friends and family launched a major appeal on social media for kind suppliers to help grant her one last wish, the Daily Record reports.
Kind-hearted wedding suppliers donated in their droves and the ceremony was due to take place at Cornhill Castle in Biggar, today.
However sadly at 11am Hazel's sister Gillian Anderson announced the tragic news that she'd passed away.
She said: "Our beautiful Hazel has died this morning after her courageous battle with cancer.
"Thank you to everyone who has been there for Hazel, the family and friends and who have so generously donated to her dream wedding."
She added: "The family would like to invite you to join them at Cornhill Castle, Coulter Road, Biggar today from 3.30pm onwards to celebrate Hazel’s life and share our memories of her, as was her wishes.
"Everyone is very welcome to attend, please do share this post with those you think may wish to attend.
"With much love from Team Hazel."
