You can apply to be Lorraine Kelly’s fashion stylist – here is how

Do you know your fashion? Do you love watching Lorraine? Well why not combine the two and make a buck along the way by applying to style the TV icon.

That’s right, two exciting roles have become available on ITV’s Lorraine: one is that of a fashion stylist and the other is a fashion assistant.

  • Lorraine Kelly upset over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's decision to step down for royal duties

  • David Walliams opens up about his anxieties around hosting the National TV Awards for the first time

Posting to her Instagram Stories on Thursday Bronagh Webster, the show’s current head of wardrobe and stylish, wrote: "Two amazing opportunities to join our @Lorraine fashion team. Fashion stylist and fashion assistant."

However, she did clarify that you must have a passion for fashion and the work record to back that up, writing: "Please do not apply if you do not have the relevant experience."

But what is the relevant experience she speaks of? Well, the job post states that candidates must have "experience in fashion styling is essential, as is an in-depth knowledge of all the latest catwalk and celebrity trends."

Additionally, having worked in TV before would be beneficial but you must also have “experience of styling from High Street and online brands. You’ll be able to look at a celebrity outfit and instinctively know how and where to recreate it from High Street or Online brands."

The job posting then goes on to explain that: "The role is predominately prep based and organisational skills are vital. You will also be required at least two days per week in the studio to fit models and work with our on-screen stylist on each fashion segment.

“An up-to-the-minute knowledge of fashion and celebrity news is essential, as is a keen eye for forward planning and generating ideas for future fashion segments."

However it is not all just organising and having a keen eye for style as you will also be managing budgets and expenses which may to some bet a downside. But if this still sounds like your ideal role, and you have the skills to prove you deserve it, why not head to the ITV careers website and apply now!
