Katie Price's fiancé Carl Woods allegedly tried to force his way into a house after rowing with her, a court heard today (March 23).
Carl, 33, was charged last month under Section 4 of the Public Order Act for allegedly using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
On Wednesday, he pleaded not guilty to using threatening and abusive behaviour and will now face trial.
He spoke only to confirm his name and age, and to enter his not guilty plea, and was granted unconditional bail.
Katie, 42, supported him from the public gallery.
Prosecuting, Leigh Hart told Colchester Magistrates' Court: "On the evening of the 22 August 2021 the defendant got into an argument with his partner at his home address.
"This resulted in his partner leaving his property to go to another property.
"The defendant followed her and attempted to force the door of that property and was heard shouting outside in the street."
According to Mark Davies, defending Carl, the alleged incident was "nothing more than a squabble".
Carl is next due to appear in court on June 16 for the start of his trial.
Woods will not be represented through legal aid at his trial, in which five witnesses including neighbours will be called, the court heard.
Carl and Katie arrived at court together earlier in the day.
The couple, who say they will get married this year, arrived in casual outfits, with former Love Island star Carl in a black t-shirt, jeans and trainers.
Former glamour model Katie wore a tight black top and matching jacket, as well as green trousers with stripes down the legs.
While Carl wore simple sunglasses, Katie completed her court ensemble with a rather interesting full face shield that went from a shaded lens at the top to transparent at her mouth.
The duo recently returned from Thailand after spending some time together in the sun.
They both got new tattoos while out there, with Katie's new lower arm sleeve visible as she arrived at court.
The ex Loose Women regular got a floral design after asking her terminally ill mum Amy what her favourite flowers were.
She documented the time at the tattoo shop on her YouTube channel, and could be seen screaming in agony as the artist got to work.
Katie also showed off the results of her recent surgery, with what is believed to be her 14th – and biggest ever – boob job.
The star was photographed on a number of occasions in minuscule bikinis as she enjoyed some downtime with Carl.
