Coronation Street's Luke Delaney has told of his heartache after the death of his friend Neil.
The actor said he’d “give everything” for one last training session with his pal, who he referred to as his “big bro”.
Sharing a poignant snap on Instagram of them together, he wrote: “’Babe, I’ve got some sad news… it’s your friend, Neil.’

“The first words I heard this morning.
“And I just knew. How is it that in that moment, we know?
"But in the moments leading up to it, you can have absolutely no idea what someone is going through.”
He went on: “I know you had your demons.
“But I don’t think I was ever in a room with you where you weren’t smiling, being a joker & making people laugh.”
“I’d give everything for one more training session,” said the star, who is best known for playing Dave Fairchild on the cobbles.
“To come down from my hotel room post show and see that smile and 2 pints waiting.
“To give you a hug and tell you how much you were loved.
“I’m going to miss you big bro.”
“I hope you’ve found your peace,” added Like, whose other TV credits include Stay Close and Peaky Blinders.
Fans flocked to the comments section to send their condolences after the actor shared his sad news.”

“I’m so sorry for your loss Luke,” wrote one, as someone else chimed in: “Thinking of you.”
