Kate Wright and Rio Ferdinand wed in a lavish three-day wedding at upmarket five-star D Maris Bay Hotel in Mamaris over the weekend however the blushing bride, who rose to fame following her appearance on TOWIE, looked world's away from her reality TV past.
Walking down the aisle with Rio's three children by her side, the natural beauty has come along way from her catty reality TV past.
The blonde bombshell was first propelled into the British spotlight when she made an iconic arrival on the Essex show which documented Kate's involvement in on-screen feuds and her short-lived reconciliations with on-off boyfriend Dan Edgar.
It's been a bumpy road for the TV personality following a memorable altercation which saw her liken co-star Megan McKenna to a 'dog', before it drastically backfired and she declared it was just "banter".
The event dramatically surfaced when TOWIE stalwart James 'Arg' Argent asked his pals to name Pete Wicks' dog at a quiz night – not missing a beat, Kate cruelly replied, 'Megan McKenna'.
Not happy with being compared to a four-legged animal, Megan came to blows with Kate on the street when she decided to call out on her remark.
Kate saw red and swiftly accused Megan of threatening to "rip my f***ing head off" in payback.

"I thought it was quite funny. Everyone in the room laughed. It was a banter night… it wasn't anything personal about you."
And it wasn't just Kate's friendships that became a strong talking point as her on-off relationship with Dan Edgar also sent tongues wagging.
After making up and breaking up more times than people have eaten hot school meals, Kate also made a dig at her former friend Chloe Lewis for "flirting" with Dan.
Kate ended up in hot water as it was revealed co-star Jon Clark had been leaving drunk voicemails on her phone, however Jon claimed Kate had actually been sleeping with one of his friends.
Moving on from the TOWIE drama, it was in 2017 when Kate started secretly dating Rio Ferdinand following the pair's chance meeting abroad.
The former football, who lost his wife Rebecca to breast cancer in 2015, was holidaying in Dubai when he met Kate at a friend's BBQ bash, and asked his children – Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11 and eight-year-old Tia – if they would be ok if he asked her on a date.
Rio admitted to OK! Magazine he put down their meeting to "fate".
He said: "I knew Kate was special from the moment I met her, it was pretty instant, but seeing her with the kids cemented everything, that was a huge part of it for me. So many pieces of the jigsaw have to click together for it to work and the wedding was the final piece.”
Meanwhile, Kate revealed the night they met she knew marriage was on the cards.
She said: "The night I met Rio I knew I was going to marry him. I met him and we just clicked straight away."
The pair kept their relationship out of the spotlight for months until they were pictured in July 2017 walking hand-in-hand accompanied by daughter Tia.
Deciding to concentrate solely on bringing up Rio's three children, Kate decided to bow out of TOWIE, and didn't mention Rio or his family in her final scenes.
Speaking about her decision she told Daily Mail's You Magazine it was about becoming "a family unit".
She said: "So from the first date, him asking me to be his girlfriend, us moving in — everything — the kids were part of it. So it wasn't me taking their dad away from them, it was more us becoming a family unit."
In 2018, surrounded by his children, Rio popped the question to Kate during a family holiday to Abu Dhabi.
A year later, Tia served as Kate's maid of honour, and she was accompanied by Lorenz and Tate.
Rio told OK! Magazine: "Seeing Tate and Lorenz walk Kate down the aisle was particularly poignant and we wouldn't have wanted to do it any other way."
