Loose Womens Nadia Sawalha gobsmacked by gift Victoria Beckham sent her

Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha has revealed she was once sent a t-shirt by none other than Victoria Beckham – but to this day she has never worn it.

The ITV presenter, 57, recalled the time she met the Spice Girls legend at Soho House in London with fellow presenter Christine Lampard, a close pal of Posh.

She told Daily Star she felt "naff" meeting the fashion titan as she was sporting flip-flops and a Primark bag – but it seems Mrs. Beckham took a liking to her.

Nadia has just become Thea UK's new ambassador and is promoting a drive to stress the importance of looking after our eyes and raise awareness of conditions like Dry Eyes Disease.

On meeting Victoria, she said: "I was lucky enough to meet her in Soho House and I was with Christine Lampard that knows her very well, obviously. I'll never forget it, I had a massive Primark bag and I was in Soho House and I had flip-flops on. I felt so naff!"

Luckily, she said Victoria was "lovely" to be around and even sent her and fellow Loose Women star Kaye Adams a t-shirt afterwards.

Nadia went on: "She was just so calming and lovely and funny, and actually she sent me and my friend Kaye [Adams] a gift after she just met us for like five minutes!"

Revealing what the gift was, Nadia said: "One of her T-shirts. It said 'I can't concentrate in flats'. I've still got it hanging up, I've never worn it [laughs]."

The ex-EastEnders actress also revealed she was plotting to poke fun at businesswoman Victoria and herself.

The TV star is known and loved for her hilarious Instagram impersonations of social media stars like US models Kim Kardashian and Sommer Ray.

Nadia explained it was her daughters who egged her on to do an impersonation of Sommer, but she confirmed she has her "eyes on" Posh next.

She said: "I really love her. I think she's funny, I think she's a grafter, so she would definitely be the perfect next [target], and I've got my eyes on her…"

The prospect, she confessed, was a "delicious" one and announced she'd been working on it.

On why she teamed up with Thea UK, Nadia said she's suffered with dry eyes "for years" as a young contact lens wearer who left her lenses in on nights out, being a phone addict, and going through the menopause.

The star said it's "so frustrating" as those things aggravate her eyes, but she 'loves' Thea's new Thealoz duo eye drops and the mask they sent her.

Nadia added: "I'm just generally very interested in eye health. It's just so important. I think it's one of the senses that we fear the most of losing."

She explained she's always been invested in eye health as eye issues have affected her family, given that her grandfather was blind and her mum now has to have daily injections in her eyes.

Nadia Sawalha is supporting eyecare experts Théa UK’s ‘Keep a look out for your eyes’ campaign to raise awareness of dry eyes and the importance of looking after our eye health.
