Caroline Flack has stepped down from her presenting gig on the next series of Love Island following her assault charge.
The 40-year-old was arrested and charged with assault by beating on Thursday morning after allegedly hitting her boyfriend Lewis Burton with her mobile phone.
Taking to Instagram, the TV host she revealed she will not be taking part in the sixth season of the popular ITV dating show.
She wrote: "Love Island has been my world for the last five years, it’s the best show on telly. In order to not detract attention from the upcoming series I feel the best thing I can do is to stand down for series six.

Since news of her Love Island departure surfaced, fans of the show have urged TV bosses to hire Emily Atack to fill Caroline's shoes.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Emily Atack or Jacqueline Jossa to host Winter Love Island."

While others think Maya Jama would be a good fit for the vacancy.

While another social networker agreed: "Maya Jama to take over Love Island please x."
News of Caroline's exit comes days after her "domestic disturbance" with beau Lewis.
Police were on the scene shortly after 5am on Thursday after being called to the star's £1m smart end-of-terrace home in London's Islington area.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Caroline Flack, 40, of Islington was charged on Friday, 13 December with assault by beating. She will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Monday, 23 December.
"This follows an incident at approximately 05:25hrs on Thursday, 12 December after reports of a man being assaulted. He was not seriously injured."
