From starting out as a 16-year-old school girl on BGT to turning 30 today (September 26) having had a glowing career in both television and music – Megan has carved an incredible career for herself.

To celebrate the starlet's milestone birthday, Daily Star takes a look at Megan's incredible career transformation.

Britain's Got Talent stint

In 2009 – one year before her first TOWIE appearance – Megan auditioned for Britain's Got Talent.

Popping up on the beloved talent show, Megan was in a pop group called Harmony.

Appearing in front of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan, Megan looked so young as she stood beside her friend Demi.

Megan was just 16 when she and her 14-year-old pal donned neon tutus, leg warmers and long socks.

Harmony got three yes votes and eventually made it to the semi finals.

First ever TOWIE appearance

In 2010 Megan made her first appearance on The Only Way Is Essex.

Probably around 17 years of age, Megan was auditioning for Jess Wright's girl band LOLA when she popped up in season one of the much-loved TV series.

When she appeared at the on-screen audition, she even got hit on by Mark Wright – Jess' brother – before getting picked as a member of LOLA.

There's even a short video of Megan on TheLOLAOfficial YouTube page where she introduces herself as a band member and wishes all of their fans a happy Christmas.

Celebrity Big Brother

In 2016, one year after she appeared on Ex On The Beach, Megan appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.

She appeared alongside her ex-boyfriend Jordan Davies, Geordie Shore hunk Scotty T, Hollyoaks babe Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell.

While in the house Megan got a formal warning about her "aggressive behaviour" and tantrums in the house, and although she was the fourth housemate to be evicted – she still had plenty of highlights.

One highlight was when she performed for the housemate during a talent show where she wowed viewers at home with her incredible voice.

Journey to Nashville

In 2017 Megan began her journey to Nashville when she starred in her very own reality TV programme.

Viewers watching There's Something About Megan saw the brunette beauty make her way across Nashville trying to get her foot in the country music door.

Travelling from Essex to Nashville, Tennessee, the TV series showed Megan try to make it big by visiting famous country music locations like the Bluebird Café – the place that Taylor Swift got discovered.

She traded her heels and designer handbags for leather cowboy boots and a hat – and since 2017 she hasn't looked back.

In 2018 she went on to release High Heeled Shoes – the debut track from her album The Story Of Me.

Garnering success from the beginnings of her country career, her first album peaked at number four on the UK Country Chart.

Country career today

In 2019 Megan appeared on the celebrity version of The X Factor – and actually went on to win the show after singing a slew of her own original tracks.

But following the pandemic, today Megan releases a new song every single Friday – leaving her fans satisfied with a regular flow of music.

Whether she's releasing a brand new track or covering a classic much-loved song, Megan is determined to bring out new and fresh material for her fans every week.

Every track that Megan releases has a country vibe – which is the genre Megan has clearly hooked onto since her journey to Nashville.

On Friday, September 16, Megan released a song entitled Stronger.

Taking to Instagram to tell her followers about the song she revealed how the song is "deeply personal" and that she penned it while in Nashville.

She went on to say how the song is dedicated to her granddad and that she sung a shortened version of it when she was on The X Factor, but is now happy to have released a full-length studio version.
