My Mum, Your Dad’s Monique Payneeandy has denied that she is romancing her co-star Clayton Byfield, but said he’s the “absolute best hooman”.
The pair met when they both appeared in the hit TV show, which sees older singles after another shot at love. In the series, Monique was in a bit of a love triangle with co-stars Martin and Tollulah. So it came out of left field when she shared the cute snap of her and Clayton.
The image showed then with their arms around each other and smiling. It looked a little like a shot of a new couple making their romance Insta-official and dating rumours started swirling.

Fans flocked to the comments section to ask if the picture – which was captioned "You are another rib in my cage" along with three crying with laughter emojis – meant that Monique and Clayton were an item. “Omg are you two together??” asked one excited fan. Another said what a great couple the TV stars made.
However, Monique quickly made it clear that the pair were not stepping out together and that they are just friends. “Aww we are not together but he is the absolute best hooman!” she wrote.
Clayton then replied to her comment, posing: “Awe thank you Monique xx.” Their response disappointed fans, with many saying they believed Monique and Clayton would be “a great match”.

Others said Monique and Clayton really looked like an item too. One gushed that they would make “the most beautiful couple”. “You look so good together,” said another person.
