Naga Munchetty hosted her Five Live radio show this afternoon on little sleep after staying up to watch the French Open last night.
The match featured long-time rivals Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nada compete against one another in the quarter-finals.
Although it was a nail-biting match throughout, it was Nadal who was victorious and has advanced to the Roland Garros semi-finals.
The match began Tuesday night and finished in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Speaking about the match, Naga admitted to her listeners she couldn't turn herself away.
Naga said: "Wow, what a match last night between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic at Roland Garros You may have stayed up late watching it, I did."
She later went on to call the intense match "epic" before admitting to not getting much sleep in order to watch it.
Naga continued: "Honestly, I couldn't turn myself away. I loved it and yes was lacking a bit in sleep but I'm good! I'm up for today."
He said "I didn't get any – I didn't really get much sleep. I'm fine, I'm fine on it."
Although she's a keen fitness fanatic herself, Naga has had to slow down her active lifestyle after sustaining a number of injuries last year.
At the end of last year, the BBC Breakfast star appeared on Morning Live where she spoke about some of her injuries.
She said: "I love running! [But] I've got Achilles Tendonitis and I've dislocated my knee. There's a couple of injuries."
Despite having to slow down, she's been sharing her fitness milestones with her Instagram followers after her gym sessions.
At the end of May, the 47-year-old revealed she was "well chuffed" with herself as she managed to complete her first HIIT workout of 2022.
Sharing a sweaty gym snap of herself after the achievement, she filled in her followers with her weekend plans.
She captioned the image: "Was determined to finish my first HIIT workout of 2022. Did it [tick emoji] Well chuffed!
