One Direction fans have had a good year. While the fandom are still looking for almost any signal that the four artists are getting back together, they experienced a joyful July. Marking ten years of the band forming, Directioners were given some goodies to celebrate the life and death of the incredibly iconic band.
All of the boys – Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan – all spoke out publicly about their time in the band.
And while all of them praised their career-defining work, none of them touched upon a return to the band.
The band have not been together since 2016, when they split after six years of sitting at the top of their game.
One year prior the gang lost one member, Zayn Malik, after he decided to exit the band.
Now, the newest odds on the band reuniting seem promising.
According to Ladbrokes, the band have a great chance of getting back together before the year is out.
Ladbrokes have given the band 1/4 to reunite this year.
Ladbroke’s Alex Apati commented: “A One Direction reunion looks well on the cards if the latest odds are anything to go by.”
This is certainly fantastic news, as September is just a few weeks away, and fans are eager to learn of any reunion news as soon as possible.
But if the band were to get back together, would it be for good, or just a simply reunion tour?
Considering it was recently announced Harry Styles has made £50 million since going solo, the boys certainly won’t be strapped for cash enough to dive back in to the gigging scene.
But will the team feel the urge to dive back on stage and reunite with their fans?

Meanwhile, odds on Malik returning to the band have also increased in the past few months.
Of course, fans have been yearning for the band to reunite, but ideally, they would love to see Zayn back in the original line up.
Considering Zayn hasn’t been a part of the gang for some time, his return would be monumental.
Well, although nothing is certain as of yet, the good news is the star has strong odds on returning to the band if they do eventually reunite.
Last month, Coral gave Zayn a healthy 5/4 on returning to One Direction.
If this wasn’t enough of a tease, fans were also given odds on the band dropping a new album.
Considering everyone has been stuck indoors this year due to the lockdown, it would make sense for them to have written and recorded a brand new album.
But, now that all of the team have taken on solo careers, the music could be drastically different.
