Titled ‘Long Live Pabb’, the track arrives along with its official music video that shows the 23-year-old emcee, whose real name is Tyquian Terrel Bowman, spitting his bars in his car and a cemetery.
AceShowbiz –Quando Rondo is still in a grieving process around five months after Lul Pab’s tragic death. On Monday, January 23, the “Want Me Dead” rapper released a new tribute song dedicated to his late pal.
Titled “Long Live Pabb”, the track arrived along with its official music video that shows Rondo spitting his bars in his car and a cemetery. The clip concludes with black-and-white footage of Pub holding a stack of cash.
Lul Pab was fatally shot on August 19. When Rondo and his entourage were fueling up at a gas station, a white vehicle carrying three gunmen pulled up and began shooting. The emcee’s black SUV drove off, before being stopped by cops near the intersection of Santa Monica and San Vicente.
One of the police officers then interrogated Rondo as he was visibly in shock. Others, meanwhile, dragged a body out of a black Escalade, prompting Rondo to freak out and walk away. They gave CPR to the victim, who was seemingly Lul Pab, but he died after being rushed to a hospital.
According to Fox 11 News, police investigators have determined that the suspects intended to kill Rondo instead of Lul Pab. “A wild scene here as investigators say the apparent target of this deadly gunfire, a rapper of from the Atlanta area – they say a pretty well-known rapper, too – in this area along with a second person in this back Cadillac Escalade – may have been a relative, may have been a member of his entourage – we don’t know,” reporter Ed Laskos explained.
“But it’s that second person, not the rapper, it’s that second person who was hit by gunfire, dies by the gunfire,” the reporter continued. As for Rondo, he “didn’t sustain any injuries during the shooting and is safe.”
