Stacey Solomon tells trolls to unfollow her amid £3K a week holiday backlash

Stacey Solomon has hit out at trolls urging for them to "unfollow" her after some took a distaste with her latest array of family holiday snaps branding her as "insensitive", "tacky" and "tasteless".

The popular television personality, 33, had been enjoying time away with her husband Joe Swash and her brood of five children on a luxury trip to Antalya in Turkey.

It is believed that one week at the plush Turkish resort could set back holiday goers a whopping £3,000 per week – which is why its seems some of Stacey's followers took issue with her latest array of cherished moments.

Taking to the platform, the Loose Women star couldn't resist sharing some of her favourite pictures from her family getaway and much to her surprise she was met with some not so positive responses.

The snaps sin question showcased the Swash-Solomon clan beaming happy smiles as they posed on the beach looking glam before sunset.

Stacey wore an incredible sleeveless green dress as she received a cheeky kiss on the cheek from husband Joe.

Other images saw the TV star posing with baby Belle looking sun-kissed in a stunningly elegant black swimsuit and larking around on the beach with I'm A Celeb star Joe and her off-spring.

Many fans were quick to critique Stacey for her recent barrage of holiday snaps, blasting her as being "insensitive" during a time when many people are struggling to make ends meet in the cost of living crisis.

One commenter penned: "Sorry Stacy but an average family could not afford this hotel you are very lucky to be able to afford this."

Another fumed: "Have a bit of respect during a cost of living crisis."

While a third wrote: "Lots of people can't afford to put food on the table or pay fuel bills. Obviously not Stacey’s fault but in this economic crisis showing her holiday clips of her ever growing family I find it rather insensitive.

"I'm lucky that I have a family that isn't dependent upon me, but I do have empathy and compassion for the people who are suffering.

"Showing how lucky you are to get a discount for advertising this holiday destination is rather tasteless and tacky. Where has the Stacey gone who once was a very different person who had compassion for others.

"I’m not bothered about your money and your discounts what horrifies me is you have blatantly rubbed peoples noses in your advertising to get discounts while other unfortunate families can’t afford a local holiday.

"What has happened to you Stacey is it all about the money."

After digesting the remarks beneath her post, Stacey returned to her platform offering up a Q&A along with serving up a response for haters.
