BTS performed a three-day concert event called Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final] on Oct. 26, Oct. 27, and Oct. 29, 2019. The concerts took place in Seoul, and marked the end of their Love Yourself era and the continuation of their Map of the Soul era. Even though the concerts took place months ago, BTS’s ending ments from the last concert on Oct. 29, 2019 still have us in our feels.
Jimin’s ending ment to BTS fans
In Jimin’s ending ment on the last night of the tour, he reassured BTS fans that he loves them.
“It really feels like I’m in a different world so I think I’m really, truly happy. So the thing I want to say to you all is thank you for making this other world of you for us,” Jimin told ARMY according to a fan translation. “And lastly the thought that I had the most from going around on tour was that the words that I, we, heard most from you guys were ‘It’s okay, I love you.” But I think the words that we have to be saying to you the most are ‘It’s okay, I love you.’ I wanted to tell you that no matter what happens, it’s okay. No matter what happens, I love you.”
Suga looked at the final concerts differently
Known for his introspective nature, Suga had a different way of looking at the final concerts. In his ending ment, he told fans that the final concerts were actually a beginning.
“It may be the final concert, but I think that too – if there is a start, then there is an end, and if there is a hello, then there is a goodbye. This final concert, though it is an end, it is also a beginning I think. Thanks to you, for three days I have made so many happy memories and I think I can only leave with happy memories,” Suga told fans.

V reassured BTS fans in his speech
Given the current times with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, V’s ending ment from the last day of Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final] is especially bittersweet.
“This is the end of our tour, so you may be thinking that this is the last time that you, ARMY, are seeing our solo songs and setlist, but what we want to say is to not think of this as the last,” V said. “After all, we’re gonna do it again, we’re gonna have a huge arena like this and have ARMYs come for a concert again. You’re gonna come then too, right?”
Jin had ‘complicated’ emotions that night
During his ending ment, Jin admitted that performing “Epiphany” for the last time was conflicting for him.
“Before, while I was singing ‘Epiphany,’ since I was thinking about how it would be the last time… I was so upset. So I had those kinds of emotions, and at the end when I was looking at you all from [the top], a smile appeared,” Jin said. “Something like, it ended. I’m no longer going to be doing this song. I had complicated thoughts – I was happy and upset [about it] at the same time…”
What Jungkook told fans
In his ending ment, Jungkook let BTS fans know he had fun during the Love Yourself and Speak Yourself tours.
“As time passes, my affection towards things like concerts just continue to grow. During the previous tour, I think I was a bit exhausted, but for this tour, it’s not like that at all,” Jungkook told BTS fans. “I didn’t have any thoughts like that – it was just so fun… But to be honest, today’s concert wasn’t as satisfying a result as I would’ve liked it to be. But you guys enjoyed [the concert] so much, so I think I’ll be able to return happily.”
J-Hope did not have regrets from the tour
J-Hope opened his ment by admitting he was surprised and honored that fans filled up the Jamsil Olympic Stadium on a weeknight.
“I was worried a bit to be honest, because it’s Tuesday. I was worried, but it’s filled to the brim, you filled up the stadium,” he said.
J-Hope then told fans that while he normally has some regrets once a tour has ended, he did not feel that way on the last day of Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final].
“Honestly, today is really the last for this tour, and I remember always being regretful and wistful at the last moment, but I think that feeling is less today… I think I can end this Love Yourself and Speak Yourself tour with relief. I thank our fans who loved this tour, thank you so much, everyone.”
RM told BTS fans the journey of loving oneself will continue
RM’s ending ment on the last night of the tour brought on the emotions, and towards the end of his speech he teared up.
“So, while the concept of Love Yourself: Speak Yourself finishes here, since the journey, the road, of finding how to love ourselves doesn’t finish here, in the future too, let’s hold hands as we are now, and be together as we work out how to love ourselves,” RM said according to a fan translation.
Through tears, he said, “In the future, too, I hope that even one word of ours, one line of lyrics, could be a help for you to love yourselves. In the future, too, whatever [concept] we return with, let’s try to enjoy ourselves together. It’d be good if there was a better word than ‘love,’ but truly, I love you. Please know that.”
