90 Day Fiancé couple Ashley Martson and Jay Smith stunned absolutely everybody and got back together this summer. Amid the general feeling that fans shouldn’t be surprised came the realization that, just as quickly, Martson and Smith had split once again.
But they didn’t split quietly. Martson is claiming that Smith cheated on her — again — and got someone else pregnant. Smith is denying the pregnancy claims. Martson has also alleged that after the breakup, Smith showed up at Martson’s house to try and win her back.
Martson says Smith cheated again
Despite a history of infidelity, arguments, and court orders, Ashley Martson and Jay Smith decided to get back together this summer. They did so relatively quietly, with only a few telltale signs here and there on social media.
However, like all their other attempts at a successful relationship, this was short-lived. And really, no one is surprised about that. Martson revealed that she and Smith broke up among allegations that Smith got another woman pregnant.
Martson discussed what went down this summer with In Touch Weekly. “I’m a big believer in following your heart and it is true that I took Jay back once again. I know people will judge me and, while I can accept that, it was ultimately my decision,” said Martson.
“However, what my friend is saying turned out to be true and Jay confirmed it himself on the phone that he did indeed have another girl who is claiming he got her pregnant,” added the 90 Day Fiancé star.
Martson went on to say, “He said he doesn’t believe her but they are going to get a test done and regardless it’s clear he cheated on me. I am distraught yet again and am picking up the pieces and doing my best to move on. I know that I only have myself to blame for the situation I’m in again. It’s no one’s fault but my own. I can safely say I am, once and for all, done with Jay.”
Martson’s representative informed Us Weekly, “At this time, my client is personally focused on herself and her personal life and her children. After giving someone so many chances, you learn to grow and see the better for yourself. She wishes Jay nothing but the best.”
Smith says Martson wants attention
Jay Smith was not happy to hear Ashley Martson’s accusations. In a conversation with In Touch, he says that Martson is just seeking attention. Smith also claims that she’s lying and that he hasn’t gotten anyone pregnant.
“All I gotta say is I don’t need to lie to the media just to get attention. The internet is not for me,” Smith told In Touch. “No one is pregnant from me. No one is pregnant from me. That’s number one.”
“I don’t really care about the attention, at least some people do, that’s why they’re making a scene out of everything,” claimed Smith. “So, I guess some people just love attention because their analytics is going down on Instagram, so they need attention so I guess they got attention. Yeah. That’s not me though.”
Jay Smith the party crasher?
Ashley Martson’s friends claim that when she and Smith broke up, he wound up at her doorstep. According to Martson’s friends, Martson and her pals had a girls’ night with their kids to try and help Martson move on from her breakup with Smith.
“Ashley contacted me to let me know what was going on,” explained Martson’s friend, Michelle. “[We] decided to have a girls’ nights with the kids to take her mind of what was going on. I went to Ashley’s around 4 [p.m.] and Ashley started getting blocked calls. I answered, and it was Jay.”
Michelle continued, “He hung up when he realized it wasn’t Ashley. All he said was, ‘Do you have a minute?’ He then called from the tattoo shop phone and said, ‘Michelle, please tell Ashley [the other woman] isn’t pregnant. She was lying. I ghosted her so she made it up to talk to me. Are you guys home?’” I stated, ‘No,’ even though we were.”
Michelle claims that Smith eventually messaged her to tell her that he’s outside, can see their cars, and knows that they are home. Smith then showed up at the door, and, according to Michelle, walked inside with his friend and began eating the food the women had put out for their night together. Smith then tried to walk out the door while wearing Martson’s winter coat.
“My only comment would be that I don’t care to see him or speak to him,” Martson told In Touch.
