Amanda Holden signs new £3 million three-year deal to stay as Britain’s Got Talent judge – The Sun

AMANDA Holden has agreed a new three-year deal worth £1million per series to stay with Britain’s Got Talent.

The 48-year-old judge’s bumper payday follows a £40million “golden handcuffs” agreement for hosts Ant and Dec.

Her rise is believed to be worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.

ITV is desperate to keep its top talent amid fears they could be poached by rival Amazon.

Talks on Amanda’s deal continued over Christmas.

It means she will be back for a 14th series of BGT, having been a regular since its 2007 launch.

The mum of two and co-judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams will start filming in weeks.

Last year, Amanda agreed a £3million two-year deal for Heart FM’s breakfast show, making her the UK’s best-paid female showbiz host.

The payday meant she got more than BBC Radio 2 rival Zoe Ball’s reported £1.2million a year.

Amanda also has deals with M&S, QVC and Fenn Wright Manson.

A TV source said: “After boosting listening figures for Heart, it shows why ITV are desperate to keep Amanda on BGT as she brings a whole new audience with her.

“The show wouldn’t be the same without Simon and Amanda.

“The judges’ chemistry plus her incredible outfits and down-to-earth humour have been a hit since the very start.

“Amanda has been enjoying a family holiday in the Maldives but she is expected to sign when she returns to the UK next week.”
