BBC Breakfast narrowly avoided being tossed into chaos during a segment on Motor Neurone Disease, as one star was scolded: "Put it away!"
Correspondent John Maguire was on the scene at rugby star Ed Slater's charity bike ride to raise awareness for MND after he himself was diagnosed with the condition.
The athlete and a huge group of pals and teammates are cycling 350 miles to raise money for research to battle the disease, and starting their second leg today (August 9).
But things quickly started to go wrong, as John was forced to intervene during a rather major wardrobe blunder
Gathering Ed's teammates for a quick chat before they headed off on their journey, John explained to Sally Nugent and Ben Thompson in the studio: "You'll be thrilled to know that we almost had an unfortunate incident a few seconds ago.
"Jim Hamilton's belly button was out – but he's covered it up now! Put it away!" he scolded Jim, adding: "So we've saved that from everybody's breakfast cereals!"
Jim desperately patted his Lycra cycling shirt over his belly to ensure everything was still covered – and couldn't help but giggle at John's antics.
The group thankfully got off to a smooth start then, travelling from Leicester to Twickenham via Milton Keynes – Ed's home town.
Fans on Twitter were also left giggling at the cheeky segment, as one penned: "Flashing his belly button! Good luck #4Ed & pals!" with a cry-laughing emoji.
