BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty flooded with support from fans as she suffers painful injury on run | The Sun

TV presenter Naga Munchetty was left flooded with support as she revealed that she had suffered a painful injury whilst out on a run.

The star, 48, is a regular face on BBC Breakfast but is known to enjoy all things active outside of her career.

A keen gym-goer, Naga often shares sweat-soaked selfies from her time in the gym.

This week was no different, however, Naga had ditched the gym in favour of a run but it did not have the best consequences.

Revealing she had prepared her day around her run, she was left pained when she "pulled a calf muscle".

Writing on Instagram alongside a very close-up shot of her face, Naga said: "Today I planned to do my first long run in 2 years… I slept well, lay in bed relaxing, answered messages and was generally relaxed.
I wasn't squeezing some exercise in between work and general life admin for once.

"Only went and pulled a calf muscle halfway through my run – walked home the rest of the way – luckily I wasn't too far away, and I think it's not too bad."

It did not stop the presenter from doing everything however as she quickly cleared up with her fans.

She added: "Ho hum. Won't stop me playing golf later, though."

Her fans flocked to offer their sympathies for her injury and share their well wishes.
