BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent has been blasted by viewers for 'the 'worst interview ever'.
Sally, 52, presented Wednesday's show alongside Jon Kay, and at one point the pair discussed the cost of living crisis and inflation.
Jon, 53, revealed the news that the "rising cost of living appears to be slowing down."
While the annual inflation rates for July at 6.8 per cent are higher than the same time last year, it is down from the 7.9 per cent in June, offering some potential hope for the public.
Sally then took over to interview Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Angela Rayner and get her thoughts on the matter.
The interview was conducted via video link, with Angela up in Newcastle while Sally was in the BBC Breakfast studio in Salford.

While Sally asked Angela pressing questions on inflation and other pressing matters, some BBC Breakfast viewers at home were not impressed by her interview skills.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one wrote: "Sally Nugent is a terrible interviewer. Constantly interrupting and terrible listener."
They added in a second tweet: "Problem is @sallynugent asked her pre-prepared questions with no follow-up, which is always a recipe for a terrible interview."
Another tweeted: "Angela Raynor 10, @sallynugent 0 Random preprepared questions that weren’t answered and no follow-up. Worst interview ever."
