Bradley Walsh, 59, showed viewers a different side of himself on Wednesday, in the latest episode of Breaking Dad. The second series of the hit show follows him and his son Barney on a journey across America, where they get up to all sorts of shenanigans.
I’m going to have a heart attack
Bradley Walsh
Arguably one of the most infectious personalities on TV at the moment, Bradley can do it all – act, sing, present, the works.
But there is one thing that he can’t get his head round, and that’s heights.
The Chase star was left in tears from facing his biggest fear after Barney organised for them to try their hand at abseiling.
And, it all became a little too much for Brad.

Frozen in fear, the Doctor Who star gave it his best shot, but was left unable to talk due to the mounting fear he felt as he dangled over the cliff edge.
After slipping at the beginning of his decent, the 59-year-old was shaken as he slammed into the rock face.
“I’m going to have a heart attack,” he stuttered, staring straight ahead so as not to look down.
Sensing his panic, Barney could be heard sending some encouraging words to his worried dad.
“What’s the view like up there?” Barney joked, as Brad simply muttered: “I can’t talk.”
But the nation’s favourite did it, finally making it to the bottom in one piece.
“That was the most frightening thing I think I’ve ever done!” he noted, as he touched both feet on the ground.
Still speechless, he couldn’t control his emotions as his son rushed to give him a hug and told him how proud he was of him.
Struggling to catch his breath, the actor admitted heights was “his big thing.”

“I shut my eyes – I’m praying to God.”
And, as a comfort to his stunned father, his son made amends by telling him how much he values these experiences in a sweet heart-to-heart.
Fans of the show took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the emotional scenes that seemed to hit them just as hard as Bradley.
One viewer applauded: “Seeing @BradleyWalsh cry after abseiling broke my heart. I genuinely know what that fear is like and you can’t explain it. I can’t be high up and I can’t have something high above me without that fear hitting me and I can’t move. Should be proud of yourself Bradley. #breakingdad.”
