Britains Got Talent voting percentages unveiled after Viggo Venn wins ITV show

The voting breakdown for the Britain's Got Talent final has been revealed, with winner Viggo Venn claiming victory by a definite advantage.

The popular reality talent competition attracts acts from across the world, with the Norwegian comedy act being crowned the winner, Lillianna Clifton finishing in second place and Cillian O'Connor in third.

The champion will go on to perform in front of King Charles and other members of the Royal Family, at the Royal Variety Performance on November 30 2023. Viggo also bagged a staggering £250,000 prize.

It has since been revealed his act, which saw him dancing in hi-vis jackets and climbing into a balloon, snagged 22% of the public vote in order to claim the top spot, according to The Sun.

Young gymnastic dancer Lillianna, 13, obtained 13.1% of the overall vote, while 14-year-old magician Cillian pulled in 11.8% of the vote.

Some BGT viewers were shocked by his victory, taking to Twitter to express their surprise – particularly as this year’s competition was particularly strong.

Other acts vying for the win included Musa Motha, Amy Lou, Olivia Lynes, Ghetto Kids, Travis George, Malakai Bayoh, Duo Odyssey and Tonikaku.

When Viggo was announced as the winner by longtime show hosts Ant and Dec, there was a mixed response from the audience.

At the time, one viewer penned: "Congratulations to him but l didn’t see this coming [three laughing emojis] all the same it’s his lucky day."

"I am shocked and laughed when he won" added another, while a third said: "Yes Viggo!!!! What an amazing winner [three clapping emoji]"

Others pondered what this means for the Royal Variety, as one quipped: "Does this mean Charles and Camilla will be wearing a high vis" while another joked: "Can’t wait to see Charles and Camilla’s faces when he comes on!"

Despite the show being hit by accusations of a "fix" last week, the finalists all appeared to be overjoyed as they took to the stage for their final performances.

This series of BGT marked the first since David Walliams' departure, with former Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli taking over the role.

He was joined by returning judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon. Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly also returned to host the show.
