CAROLINE Flack has publicly declared her love for boyfriend Lewis Burton in a statement after quitting Love Island.
The presenter, 40, who has stepped down from her role on the ITV2 show, took to Instagram to issue a lengthy explanation today.
After revealing the reason behind her decision to quit the show, Caroline thanked her friends and family for their support.
She then went on to end the statement by declaring her love for the tennis player, 27, writing: "and my boyfriend Lewis… I love you x."
Lewis also took to social media in support of Caroline earlier this week.
He wrote on Instagram yesterday: "I'm tired of the lies and abuse aimed at my girlfriend. This is not a witch hunt this is someone's life. I have not signed any NDA.
"Why would I? Caroline is the most lovely girl. Loyal and kind. She doesn't deserve any of this."
Caroline is "absolutely devastated" about the decision which comes after she was arrested on Friday.
Cops swooped on the Love Island presenter's pad in North London where the couple live together following reports of a man being assaulted.
Several officers and police vehicles were pictured outside the ITV2 star's home following the early-morning row and there were also images of blood on their door.
However, Caroline is determined she will clear her name of the altercation.
A source revealed: "She is determined to clear her name. But Love Island has been her world so it's, of course, an absolute blow. She's absolutely devastated."
Rochelle Humes, Maya Jama and Laura Whitmore are the favourites to replace her.
ITV issued a statement apology, which read: "ITV has a long standing relationship with Caroline and we understand and accept her decision.
"We will remain in contact with her over the coming months about future series of Love Island."
