CORONATION Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson is making an explosive comeback to the soap.
The Sun can exclusively reveal the actress and fashion designer, 34, will reprise her role of sex worker Nicky Wheatley in the ITV soap next spring.
Nicky’s return to the cobbles will cause chaos for ex love Daniel Osbourne and his relationship with barmaid Daisy Midgeley.
Single mum Nicky was last seen in September 2020 when she moved away after Daniel paid off her debts so she could quit prostitution.
A source said: “Daniel’s world is going to be rocked when Nicky unexpectedly turns up on the cobbles.
“She was there for him in his darkest hour after Sinead’s death but he didn’t think he’d ever see her again.
“Now he’s secretly with Daisy but could Nicky put the final nail in the coffin for their seemingly doomed relationship?”
Since leaving the soap Kimberly went on to appear on Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion on E4.

However she has frequently told how she would love a cobbles comeback.
The insider added: “Bosses are delighted Kimberly is returning.
